Cache Creek Nature Preserve Turkey

There were a half-dozen wild turkey at the Cache Creek Nature Preserve.

One gets the impression that they'd rather not fly - it looks like a hell of a lot of work!

Wow, it takes some luck, patience and skill to get photos of birds in flight. I didn't see any turkeys the day I was there. The clouds were great, so I photographed lots of landscapes at Cache Creek Nature Preserve.
