The Old Coast Road

There are two ways to make passage from Bixby Bridge to Molera State Park.

The obvious route is Highway 1 - an otherwise excellent choice.

The stunner, however, is the Old Coast Road which takes you up and down 15 or so miles of dirt road through redwood groves and past breathtaking panaoramas of the ocean in the distance.

I was advised to only attempt this with a vehicle with high clearance, but the MR2 did a good enough job.
